The Beginning

The Minnesota Paralegal Association (“MPA”) is a non-profit corporation and professional association.  Founded in 1974 as the Minnesota Association of Legal Assistants, MPA has grown to become the pre-eminent paralegal association in the State of Minnesota and one of the largest paralegal associations in the nation.

MPA is one of eight charter members of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA).
